About our school

Pebsham Primary Academy is located on the South Coast of England, with amazing sea views. We share our large green site with an outstanding special school and an independent nursery.

The original school was opened in 1978 with the original building now housing just Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. As the school was extended to accommodate increasing numbers on roll, Key Stage 2 expanded into its own area on the now split level site.

In January 2014 we converted to become part of TKAT (The Kemnal Academies Trust).  We are very proud to be part of TKAT and to be so well supported as a school. We work together to make sure we provide an excellent education for every pupil.   The key objective of TKAT is to ensure that the life chances of all pupils in their schools are significantly improved as a result of their educational provision.  Since conversion, we have made significant changes to our EYFS and Year 1 classrooms, creating large learning spaces.

TKAT is committed to providing outstanding teaching and learning to enable all students to meet the challenges of the twenty-first century.   Our school staff are committed to Pebsham and to the education of our children and are happy to meet and discuss your child’s progress with you.

We are a one form entry school and we currently have approximately 210 children on roll.  Our seven classrooms are light and airy with easy access to group working areas. Each classroom has direct access to outside areas, incorporating outdoor learning into our enriched curriculum.
